Last updated: August 2026.

The data controller is Alessia Guttadauro, owner of Frangipani Home, based in Sassari (SS), Italy, VAT number 03081370904. For any request regarding the processing of personal data, please write to teamfrangipanihome@gmail.com.
Types of data collected
While browsing the site and using its forms, the following categories of personal data may be collected:
- Contact details (name, email, phone) provided through the general contact form;
- Information provided in the Sardinia stay request (stay dates, path of interest, information about your wellbeing needs);
- Information provided when applying as a partner structure or as part of the Tornare a Casa network (business name, contact person, city, type of activity, project description);
- Email and name provided when subscribing to the newsletter;
- Content of messages exchanged with the site's virtual assistant;
- Technical browsing data automatically collected by the browser (IP address, device and browser type), to the extent strictly necessary for the site to function.
The site does not collect health-related data other than what users may voluntarily include in the free-text fields of the forms (for example when describing their needs). We recommend not including sensitive health information in form fields unless strictly necessary; any such information will nonetheless be treated with the utmost confidentiality.
Purpose and legal basis of processing
The data collected is processed for the following purposes:
- Responding to requests for information or consultations submitted through the site's forms (legal basis: performance of pre-contractual measures at the data subject's request, Art. 6.1.b GDPR);
- Managing applications received for collaborations and for the Tornare a Casa network (legal basis: performance of pre-contractual measures, Art. 6.1.b GDPR);
- Sending the newsletter, only after the user's explicit consent at the time of sign-up (legal basis: consent, Art. 6.1.a GDPR);
- Providing automated responses via the site's virtual assistant (legal basis: performance of pre-contractual measures at the data subject's request, Art. 6.1.b GDPR);
- Ensuring the security and proper technical functioning of the site (legal basis: legitimate interest of the data controller, Art. 6.1.f GDPR).
- Analysing, in aggregated and anonymised form, how the site is used in order to improve its content and functionality, only after the user's consent (legal basis: consent, Art. 6.1.a GDPR);
Data is never used for automated profiling purposes or for sending unsolicited commercial communications.
Processing methods
Personal data is processed using IT and telematic tools, following logic strictly related to the purposes described above and, in any case, in a way that ensures the security and confidentiality of the data.
Access to the data is restricted to the data controller and to the third-party providers listed in the following section, only to the extent necessary to deliver their respective services.
Data retention period
Data provided through contact and application forms is retained for as long as necessary to handle the request and, subsequently, for the period required by applicable tax and civil law, where a professional relationship is established. Data collected for the newsletter is retained until the user withdraws consent. Messages exchanged with the virtual assistant are not permanently stored by Frangipani Home beyond the duration of the conversation session.
Disclosure of data to third parties
To deliver its services, Frangipani Home relies on the following third-party providers, which act as independent data controllers or processors under their respective terms of service:
- EmailJS — used to send emails generated by the contact and application forms on the site;
- Brevo — used to manage newsletter sign-up and delivery;
- Google (Gemini API) — used to process conversations with the site's virtual assistant;
- Google Analytics — used to analyse site visits in aggregated and anonymised form, only after the user's consent.
Data is never sold, transferred or disclosed to third parties for marketing purposes unrelated to Frangipani Home.
Data transfers outside the EU
Some of the third-party providers listed above are based, or operate technical infrastructure, outside the European Economic Area (in particular, in the United States). In such cases, data transfers are carried out in compliance with the safeguards set out in Articles 45 et seq. of the GDPR, through the adoption of standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission or other adequacy mechanisms provided for by applicable law.
Data subject rights
As a data subject, you have the right to obtain at any time, within the limits and conditions set out in Articles 15–22 of the GDPR:
- Access to your personal data and to information about how it is processed;
- Rectification of inaccurate or incomplete data;
- Erasure of your data, where the legal conditions are met;
- Restriction of processing, in specific circumstances;
- Portability of the data you provided, in a structured and readable format;
- Objection to processing, in particular for marketing purposes;
- Withdrawal of consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.
These rights can be exercised by writing to teamfrangipanihome@gmail.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la Protezione dei Dati Personali, www.garanteprivacy.it) if you believe the processing of your data breaches applicable law.
Nature of data provision
Providing the data requested in the site's forms is optional. However, failing to provide the data marked as required makes it impossible to process the submitted request (for example, responding to a consultation request or managing an application).
Minors
The services offered through the site are intended for an adult audience. Frangipani Home does not knowingly collect personal data of minors through the site's forms.

This policy may be updated over time, including as a result of regulatory changes. We recommend checking this page periodically to stay up to date.
